You could also use ammonia to remove sweat stains, if you have this in the house. Mix a little ammonia with a glass of water and spread it on the sweat stain. Don’t do this with bare hands but make sure you spread it on a washcloth and then rub the shirt with the washcloth. Let the ammonia soak for an hour and then put your shirt in the washing machine. The disadvantage of ammonia is that it doesn’t smell good and it’s not healthy to breathe it in. If you are going to use it this way, make sure there is a window open for fresh air, or do it outside. Attention: do not mix the ammonia with other cleaning products, the gases you can inhale are bad for your health.
