The Ideal Venue
Many engaged couples work hard to find a local wedding venue, as it is the most convenient to have a local venue when it comes to travelling back and forth. Tracey and Rick, on the other hand, envisioned Colombia as the ideal location. “We’re planning to get married in Colombia in December, and of course, I’m beyond excited,” Tracey continued in her Facebook status. So, what had Tracey done to upset Gina? To begin, Tracey’s engagement ring was a present from Rick! This item was simply too extravagant, according to the enraged mother-in-law. While we all know Tracey had a taste for the better things in life, Gina had no right to say anything nasty about her. Even mothers must learn when to bite their tongue, and Gina was the unfiltered type. Tracey then calmly informed Gina that the ring was moissanite, which was significantly less expensive than a diamond. Gina was not even listening, not believing or even contemplating that her son and his partner had bought beautiful things through crafty deals. Things were about to get really bad, to the point that even the most calm of people would be furious. Tracey remained calm and collected in this situation. Gina appeared to have reached a new low when she decided to change the subject of the conversation to something that should never be discussed. Gina decided that humiliating Tracey for gaining weight was a good idea, and she encouraged her to reduce weight before the big day. Tracey was honest in her Reddit post, “I’m getting fat. I need to watch my calorie intake so that I can ‘fit into my outfit.’ Meanwhile, Future [MIL] is bragging about her diet and how elegant and slenderizing her mother of the bride gown is.” Gina, on the other hand, was bragging about her slimming efforts and how beautiful she looked in her own gown. There was then a terrible ripening sound. Tracey was heartbroken after seeing the damage done by Gina, who had ripped a hole through the sheet material while attempting to escape. “It was all for nothing since she managed to scratch her way through the back of the dress, completely destroying the sheer material,” Tracey added regretfully.
Expensive Mistake
“She damaged the dress’s side zipper and left a dirty footprint on the train.” Tracey’s skepticism and irritation were understandable in the midst of this tragedy. Tracey, understandably, was expecting some answers! But was the ill-mannered woman about to accept responsibility for her irresponsible behavior? Tracey, who was holding the destroyed pieces of her incredibly expensive dress, wasn’t in the mood for an apology at this point. Tracey couldn’t find the words to explain how upset she was to see her precious dress torn to pieces. She had to hold her head in order to conceal the screech she needed to let out. She was shaking with sadness, like if someone she cared about had been struck right in front of her eyes. Gina had caused her a lot of irritation and pain, but this was something she couldn’t let go of.

Gina had been the source of much of Tracey’s pain before, but this new level of devastation was unbearable. Tracey couldn’t understand how somebody could be so cruel. Tracey, unsurprisingly, held Gina accountable right away. In a shameless and ridiculous act of jealousy and possessiveness, she had gone out of her way to badly offend her future daughter-in-law. So, what was Gina’s reaction to Tracey’s demands? Tracey was simply curious as to what possessed Gina to try on her dress in the first place. “She responded that she was only checking to see if the dress would fit me; because if the dress fitted her, it would definitely fit me,” Tracey added. Gina had not only destroyed Tracey’s dress, but she had also body shamed her! To make matters worse, Gina began insulting Tracey once more.
